Iguana with MBD wont eat but drinks water ?

I dont know if its his jaw he has healed preety good i adopted 2 days ago and he hasnt eaten but he did poop the first day so it shows he has been eating or might it be he got used to the pellets they gave him at PETCo ??Anh he is very agresive how to make him fell more safe
