How bad will the economic criss effect christm this year?

Actually I don't think it will be that bad.A lot of people will not buy too many high end items,that's to be expected.But the local dollar stores,gift shops,flea markets will strive.No matter how broke we are we always manage to find some gift giving only if its just home baked goods and nothing wrong with that.Everyone has been complaining about all the commercialism,well now you have the perfect way to get around that,because I believe people will still give but not use so much credit.This is the right environment to bring back values and old time gifting.Judging by the questions on here I think Christmas will survive just fine.
